Part of my journey has been to be ok with how I look and get more photos of me...I don't want my kids and grandkids to have to wonder what I looked like.
I am getting better... I usually don't let people take pictures of me, especially if I don't have my hair done and make up on...If I did see pictures of me un made up I deleted them.
These were taken the other day, and I am happy with them...I was having a bad hair day and had no make up on... lol but I am ok with that, it's the "real" me.
I am not 100% comfortable with this... But I am letting others see it, and that is a huge step for me.
This is my girl Maggie...I had to throw this one in here too...=) This is what she does after our walks...lol Good thing the bed is a king.=P

You're a very beautiful woman! Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise! I'm the same way as you. I can't stand having my picture taken, but I have a 1 year old now and have literally 4 pictures of the two of us together. :( Not a good way to start the baby books off with, eh? I need to learn to be okay with how I look as well! I've seen some of the pics you've done in your LO's and I think you're beautiful!!!!!! *hugs* I'm going to try to be better about scrapping about myself too, thanks to your wonderful influence!
Hello and congrats on your new blogg!
As said before you are a beautiful woman!! I struggled with myself for a very long time and looking through pics see half of me and a shadow of me and saif to myself " My kids deserve better than this!" So I now take pics (complaining about how they look still though, LOL) and smile proudly.
Keep showcasing yourself and you will find, that there is no one like you on this planet and you are loved!
Congrats again and thank you for your word art gifts!
Huggles!

You are a beautiful woman. I just found your blog through SB.com. I used to be the same way about photos of myself. The way I see it now though as I get older I prefer pictures of the "real" me. It's nice to have a photo or two dressed up, make up on, etc. But, it's the everday stuff my children and granddaughter are going to remember.
